<p>The interclub scored cup-seasonal opening road races which are organized by Turkish Cycling Federation (TBF) and last 3 days were completed under participation of 380 bikers over Turkey. </p>
<p> On 27 January 2012, road races were completed. At 08.30 in the morning, adult men started in Atatürk Street of Alanya. Race continued on the road towards Antalya and the bikers turned in Manavgat and reached finish line in Alanya after riding 120 km. Bikers reached finish line in group were classified as follows.</p>

<h4> INTERNATIONAL FİNİKE MTB CUP</h4>
<p>The &#8220;International C-2 Finike MTB Race&#8221; included in the activity program 2012 of Turkish Cycling Federation and providing score for London Olympiads in 2012 took place in Finike, Antalya on 29 January 2012. Total 63 bikers participated in the race organized in Gökbük Village, 20 km away from Finike. Race took place in a racetrack which is a rocky and rugged terrain with pine trees where steep ups and downs are available in the land, iin Gökbük Village, 20 km far from Finike.</p>

<p>The international Tour of Isparta 2.2 included in the 2011 activity program of the International Cycling Union and Turkish Cycling Federation and organized in Isparta between 02 and 05 June 2011 has ended. Kocaeli Brisaspor Team, attending  the races in representation of our country and province, has become team champion in the team classification at the end of 4 laps. <p>The  &#8220;Tour du MAROC 2011&#8243;T , included in the activity schedule 2011 of International Cycling Union (UCI) and raced in Morocco between 25 March – 03 April 2011 was completed. Brisaspor, joined the racing in representation of our company, succeeded in great results. Total 114 bikers started in the race which 6 sportsmen from each team out of 19 teams joined. They rode total 1570 km in the racing which comprises 11 laps in 10 days and arrived in finish. Total 86 bikers completed the races having challenging laps. Our team succeeded to take the podium for 5 laps.</p>

Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor ranked first for the first lap of 102 km.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The International Marmara Cycling Tour organized first by Turkish Cycling Federation started in Şile.<span> </span>The tour comprised 4 laps and the first lap comprising Şile-Kefken race started with flagging by Mr Şükrü Görücü, District Governor of Şile at Şile Square. Total 63 bikers from 6 countries who would need to pedal for 522 km made a massed start from Şile under pour down. The bikers first raced in groups under pour down and on the road uphill and downhill and then they were divided into small groups after 22.5 km. The 7 leading bikers arrived in the finish line in 2 hours 48 minutes. Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor, Kocaeli ranked first in this lap with a time of 02.48.53. Mert Mutlu from the same team ranked second with a time of<span> </span>02.49.53 and Adil Kurkut from Lassaspor, Kocaeli ranked third with a time of<span> </span>02.48.54.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span lang="EN-US">THE 2ND LAP OF MARMARA TOUR NOT RACED DUE TO ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS!</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span lang="EN-US">The race between Kefken and Akçakoca, 126 km, which is the 2nd lap of the International Marmara Cycling Tour (Tour Of Marmara) organized first this year by Turkish Cycling Federation (TBF) was hindered by the race, flood and storm. Mr Yeoshua Kopitko, the commissar of the International Cycling Union (UCI) cancelled the 2nd lap of the race taking the adverse weather conditions into consideration.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The 2nd lap of the 1st International Marmara Cycling Tour organized by Turkish Cycling Federation TBF in 2.2 category<span> </span>as specified by the International Cycling Union (UCI) and started with Şile-Kefken lap was hindered by the food and storm. The storm together with the pour down over night caused that the roads from Kefken to Kandıra, Kocaeli and Sakarya were closed. Roads were not passable because of the trees overturn due to the storm and streams turning to rivers due to the flood. The group comprising 120 people, 63 out of it bikers, accommodated at Nicomedia Hotel ve Liman Hotel in Kefken and made preparations for Kefken-Akçakoca Race which would have started at 11:00, but Yeoshua Kopitko, the commissar of UCI cancelled the 2nd lap of the 1st<span> </span>International Marmara Cycling Tour<span> </span>due to the adverse weather conditions.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span>NEVZAK KIRAL FROM BRISASPOR, THE WINNER OF THE<span> </span>3RD LAP</span></strong><strong></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span lang="EN-US">The Akçakoca-Adapazarı lap which is the third lap of the 1st International Marmara Cycling Tour organized by Turkish Cycling Federation (TBF) firstly this year run. Again Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor, Kocaeli became the owner of the yellow trunk in general classification.<span> </span>Nevzat Kıral from Lassa Spor, Kocaeli<span> </span>ranked first in this lap.</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The 3rd lap Akçakoca-Adapazarı race of 120 km of the 1st International Marmara Cycling Tour started in participation of 53 bikers from 6 cuontries in Akçakoca at 11:00. Although a couple of bikers left in the beginning of the race from time to time, the bikers arrived in Düzce as a whole group. At 50th km of the race and Fadı Khanshikhani from Syrian Team left the group behind. These two bikers who were the leader of the race till 54th km kept ahead of the race with a distance of 1 minute 20 seconds. When the 74th km outdistanced, the main group caught the two bikers running ahead. In this group, 7 bikers from Syria, Germany, Georgia, Konya Şekerspor and Brisaspor Kocaeli proceeded to attack. The German biker out of 7 leading bikers fell behind about 100 km while in the last 3 km of the race, Serhan Sert from Konya Şekerspor slowed down his tempo because he got tired. Amongst 5 bikers, a hard struggle started for winning the race on the ring road of Adapazarı. Nevzat Kıral from Lassaspor Kocaeli ranked first with a time of 02.54.23 , Hasanın Omar from Syrian Team ranked second with the same time, and Uğur Marmara from Brisaspor Kocaeli ranked third with a time of<span> </span>02.54.35.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">In the general classification of this lap, Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor Kocaeli won the yellow trunk. Mert Mutlu from the same team won the red trunk who had the first place for hill climbing premium, and Nevzat Kıral from Lassa had the green trunk as the best sprinter.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">The medal of Nevzat Kıral, the champion of the lap was given by Mustafa Esen, General Secretary of Presidency, that of Hasan Omar who had the second place was given by Hikmet Dinç, Assistant Governor of Adapazarı, and that of Uğur Marmara who had the third place was given by Zeki Toçoğlu, Mayor of Greater City Municipality of Adapazarı.</span></p>

In the end of race comprising 4 laps, Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor, Kocaeli became the champion of the tour. </span></strong></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Turkish Cycling Federation TBF has successfully implemented Marmara Cycling Tour in the 2.2 category of International Cycling Union (UCI) following  Thrace, Mevlana, Trabzon, Zafer tours. The 1st International Marmara Cycling Tour starting at Şile, 28 October and comprising 4 laps with 522 kilometer was finished with Sakarya-Kocaeli lap which is 108 kilometer long. Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor, Kocaeli, who retained the ownership of the yellow trunk in general classification along 4 laps became the champion of the tour</span><span>. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span lang="EN-US">Leadership for 60 kilometers</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">With flagging by Mustafa Büyük, the Governor, at Sakarya Square at 11.00 total 49 bikers made a start. Before exiting the city, 4 bikers proceeded an attack and continued to be leader of the race for 10 kilometers. In 23rd kilometer they became a single group with the main group reaching there and run with 40 km speed averagely; however they increased their speed upto 100 kilometer when running downhill. Stefan Koychev and Georgi Petrovgeorgiev from Brisaspor, Kocaeli got ahead in 48th kilometer and raced together until the finish line. Stefan Koychev Hristov who could succeed to leave a distance of 1.5 minutes to the main group ranked first in the first lap with a time of 02.37.51. Georgi Petrovgeorgiev completed the race with the second place with the same time and Fadi Khanshikhoni from Syria ranked third with a time of 02.39.28</span><span>.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span lang="EN-US">Küçükbay became the champion of the tour</span></strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor, Kocaeli who had the first place in the lap and in the general classification of Şile-Kefken lap and won the yellow trunk, did not leave the yellow trunk to the other bikers in the end of 3rd and 4th laps. Küçükbay became the champion of the 1st International Marmara Cycling Tour and also he won the yellow trunk as the best sprinter. Mert Mutlu, 35 years old, from the same team, became the best hill-climber of the tour. Mutlu shared his joy of rostrum with his children, named Polensu(10) and Pamirsu (5).</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Mr Ercan Topaça, Governor of Prodvince Kocaeli dressed the yellow trunk on Kemal Küçükbay who is the champion of the tour in the award ceremony that took place in front of Kocaeli Metropolitan City Municipality. The red trunk of Mert Mutlu, who is the best hill-climber of the tour was given by Mr Hıdır Kahveci, Assistant Governor, and the trunk of Küçükbay who is the best sprinter was given by Kenan Malkoç, the Provincial director of Youth and Sport.</span></p>

<p><strong>The end of season final of Interclub Point (K.A.P) Roadster which is included in the events program of Turkish Cycling Federation (TBF) for 2010 and will last for three days is performed in Alanya. </strong></p>
<p><strong>BRİSASPOR WAS ALWAYS ON THE ROSTRUM</strong></p>
<p>The end of season final races of K,A.P. Roadster took place in Alanya. The adult males race started on Saturday, 09.00 Hour and run 110 km in participation of 43 bikers. Under downpour there were some small escapes from the group in the 3rd kilometer of D-400  highway, while the others joined as two groups in 20th km. The 10 bikers from Konya Şeker Spor and Kocaeli Brisa Spor turned came round the bend of Sanayi Manavgat together in the 55 th kilometer. On the way back, the small leading group increased the distance to the other group left behind upto 4 minutes. In the last 22 kilometer to the finish line, Muhammet Eyüp Karagöbek from Şekerspor, Konya,  Adil Kurkut, Uğur Marmara, İsmail Aksoy and Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor, Kocaeli spurted. A race going head to head amongst 5 bikers took place for winning first rank and consequently, three bikers from Brisaspor passed the finish line. Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor ranked first with a time of 02.34.29, Uğur Marmara ranked second with the same time and Adil Kurkut ranked third.</p>
<p>In the adult female races; bikers from Brisaspor, Kocaeli had the first three places. Gül Çelebi ranked first with a time of 01.45.05 and Esra Kürkçü ranked second with a time of  01.45.10 and Merve Tayfun ranked third with the same time.</p>
<p>The end of season final of Roadster of Turkish Cycling Federation (TBF) for 2010 came to the end in Alanya. In the end of races lasting 3 days the champions of 2010 of Turkey came out. In general individual classification, for adult males, Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor, for young males, Ahmet Aydoğdu,  for Master males Turgay Germen, for star males category A, Ferit Can Şamlı, and for star male category A Feti Acar  became champion of Turkey.   </p>
<p><strong>CHAMPION BRİSASPOR</strong></p>
<p>The end of season final race of Interclub Poirt Roadster of Turkish Cycling Federation (TBF) for 2010 came to the end in Alanya. In the end of races comprising road bike for the first two days and criterium run in the last day, the champions of Turkey in general individual classification for 2010 came out.</p>
<p>The criterium race which is the last race of the end of season final took place in the city centrum on a racetrack of 2.800 meters. The racse started with the adult males category based on 18 laps with 50.4 km in the morning, 09.30 Hour, and consequently, it continued with young males category based on 10 laps, 28 km,  with master males based on 6 laps, 16.8 km, with adult females and star males based on 5 laps, 14 km and with young females and star males B category criterium races.</p>
<p>In the criterium races in which total 197 bikers participated, Nevzat Kıral from Brisaspor, Kocaeli ranked first with a time of 01.10.27, Kemal Küçükbal from the same team ranked second, and Ali Rıza Tanrıverdi ranked third.</p>
<p>In young males category, Burak Gül from Brisaspor, Kocaeli ranked first with a time of 00.42.49. Fatih Keleş from Şekerspor, Konya ranked second with the same time, and Timur Taşra from Kepez Belediye, Antalya ranked third.</p>
<p>The bikers from adult and young females category started together. In the end of the race, the three bikers from Brisaspor passed finish line together with the same time of 00.29.50. The jury composed of referees declared that Esra Kürkçü has the first place, Merve Tayfun has the second place and Gül Çelebi has the third place. </p>

<p><strong>BRISASPOR LEFT ITS MARK ON BALIKESİR RESIDENT’S DAY OF THE WORLD DATED 10.10.2010 </strong></p>
<p>Brisaspor Team from Kocaeli left its mark with 3 medals on the races international cycling road and criterium which are organized in the scope of Balıkesir Days dated 10.10.2010.</p>
<p>The team of countries such as Bulgaria, Armenia and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus from abroad have attended the race while Brisaspor, Konya Şekerspor, Kepez Belediye Spor and Konya Bisiklet Kalkındırma Derneği (Cycling Development Association) have attended locally.</p>
<p>On the first day, the bikers who started from Balıkesir and arrived in Susurluk had difficult times due to cold weather. In the end of first day races, İsak Ünal from Brisaspor, Kocaeli ranked first, Varshan Darbinyan from Armenia ranked second and Ayhan Güngör from Konya Şekerspor ranked third.<br />
On the second day of the races, a criterium race was organized in the racetrack of 30 km in the city center. This race was supported by the citizens with applauses, and as a result, Burak Gül from Brisaspor ranked first, İsak Ünal from Brisaspor ranked second and Muhammed Keleş from Konya Şekerspor ranked third.<br />
BRİSASPOR CONQUERED BABADAG MOUNTAIN IN FETHİYE!</p>
<p>The international Babadag Mountain Climbing Race run in Ölüdeniz. The bikers climbed up to the top of Babadag Mountain at elevation of 1970 meters where they had uphill battle, and in the end, Bilal Akgül from Brisaspor, Kocaeli ranked first and Bilal Akgül from Brisaspor in the category Elite Males, and Kocaeli ranked second and Esra Kürkçü from Brisaspor, Kocaeli ranked first in the category Elite Females.</p>
<p>The international Babadag Mountain Climbing Race run included in the race calendar of Turkish Cycling Federation and the International Cycling Union (UCI) took place in Fethiye, Mugla. On the day where the human are crazy for the date of  10.10.2010 the bikers started to climb madly at 10.00 am. This race for which total 63 bikers including foreign bikers applied to be recorded started in Ovacık, Ölüdeniz, 24 km far from Fethiye. The race took place in intervals of 1 minute in 7 categories, that is, elite males, elite females, age of 19 to 23, U23 males, young males, star males, master males and master 40 + in a racetrack of 18 km which is a dusty and challenging track, with the attendance of the mountain bikers. The bikers sweated to pedal towards the top of Babadag with an elevation of 1970 m, but in spite they completed it successfully.</p>
<p>For elite males, Oleksandr Gerosshcchenko from Ukraine ranked first with a score of 01.13.33 time, while Turkey ranked second. Bilal Akgül from Brisaspor who is an experienced biker of Turkey ranked second with a score of 01.13.51 time and Dmytro Titarenka also from Ukraine ranked third with a score of 01.14.00 time.</p>
<p>As usual, Esra Kürkçü from Brisaspor Kocaeli ranked first in elite females category with a score of 01.48.46 while Semra Yetiş from Ankaragücü ranked second with a score of 01.52.00 and Asuman Burcu Balcı from 19 May University ranked third with a score of 02.05.21.</p>

        <strong>INTERNATIONAL KOCAELI MTB RACE RUN IN CITY FOREST</strong>

<p>
        The International Mountain Bike race included in activity program of Turkish Cycling<br />
        Federation (TBF) 2010 was carried out in Kocaeli City Forest. During the races in<br />
        which 9 foreign and 66 local, total 75 bikers participated the elite males toured<br />
        around 12 times and the elite females toured around 9 times in the racetrack of<br />
        3200 km.
    </p>
<p>
        The International Kocaeli Mountain Bike Race with International Cycling Union (UCI)<br />
        points as included in race program of Turkish Cycling Federation 2010 was realized<br />
        in City Forest. The race starting with elite males category in which 75 bikers participated,<br />
        some of them foreigners, continued with races in elite females category who started<br />
        in 3 minutes intervals. In the challenging racetrack of 3200 km inside forestland<br />
        with natural beauty, elite males raced 12 tours, total 34.8 km and elite females<br />
        raced 9 tours, total 28.8 km on the challenging racetrack of 3200 km.
    </p>
<p>
        In the elite males category, Andras Parti from Hungarian team ranked first with<br />
        a time of 01.21.25 and Szilard Buruczki from the same country ranked second with<br />
        a time of 01.23.37 and Bilal Akgün from Kocaeli Brisaspor of Turkey ranked third<br />
        with a time of 01.23.55.

        In the elite females category, Ezster Dosa from Hungarian team ranked first with<br />

        time of 01.29.11.

        <strong>THE INTERNATIONAL BULGARIA TOUR HAS ENDED</strong>

        The international cycling tour organized in Bulgaria between 10 to 19 September<br />
        2010 has ended. The bikers have pedaled for total 1500 km in this tour comprising<br />
        10 laps for 9 days. Total 20 teams from Turkey, Serbia, Russia, Germany, Ukraine,<br />
        Israel and Bulgaria participated in the tour and 115 bikers started the race.
    </p>
<p>
        Our Brisaspor Cycling team has represented our country successfully in the International<br />
        Bulgaria Tour and it ranked first in the 2nd lap and second in the 5th lap.

        Manisa Mountain Bike Races in the category of International Cycling Union (UCI)<br />
        as included in the program of Turkish Cycling Federation (TBF) were made with participation<br />
        of 5 countries. In Elite Male race, Andras Parti Srm Stevens from Hungarian team<br />
        ranked first and in Elite Females, Barbara Benko Rothaus-Cube from the same country<br />
        ranked first.

        The Manisa Mountain Bike races included in activity program of City Forest TBF 2010<br />
        were made in City Forest. The races in which 5 countries participated were made<br />
        in the racetrack of 4800 mt in the forest area. In the morning, at 10.00 Hours,<br />
        the elite male race was realized based on 7 laps for 33.6 km.
    </p>
<p>
        The elite bikers raced relentlessly in pathways of of the city forest where hairpin<br />
        turns are existing in order to be ranked.
    </p>
<p>
        In the elite males category, Andras Parti Srm Stevens from Hungarian team ranked<br />
        first with a time of 01.43.28 and Szilard Buruczki Köbanyai from the same country<br />
        ranked second with a time of 01.46.59 and Bilal Akgün from Kocaeli Brisaspor of<br />
        Turkey ranked third with a time of 01.48.24.

<p>Between 26 and 30 August, the Victory Parade of the 5th Independence Road  organized by Turkish Cycling Federation (TCF) under UCI 2.2 classification and included in the calendar of International Cycling Association (UCI) started with the İnebolu-Kastamonu Stage. Total 53 sportsmen from 5 countries in the name of 9 teams, such as Bulgaria, Syria, Georgia, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey, attended in the race comprising 5 stages and to be run 5th times this year. During the victory parade organized by TCF on the road where the munitions were carried to the frontline in the independence war, the representative munitions, soil of Inebolu and Turkish Flag were received from District Governor in order to deliver to the military authorities.</p>
<p><strong>  The race has ended with the stage of Eskişehir-Dumlupınar which is the last stage of the Victory Parade of Independence Road. Mert Mutlu from Brisaspor became champion of the race of 516 km and Brisaspor won the championship as a team.</p>

<p><strong>  Mert Mutlu from Brisaspor won the race between İnebolu and Kastamonu.</strong>
    </p>
<p></strong>  The 5th Victory Parade of Independence War which is one of the most important races of Turkey following Presidency Cycling Tour started with the stage of İnebolu – Kastamonu. Mert Mutlu from Brisaspor/Kocaeli ranked first in the race of 87 km and won the yellow trunk. </p>
<p>At 14.00 o’ clock, the bikers started fort he stage of İnebolu – Kastamonu of  87 km, and they were subdivided into small groups when they started to climb the mountain Masruf. Mert Mutlu from Brisaspor and Mustafa Sayar from Konya Şeker Spor who got ahead out of 5 sportsmen in the front of these small groups took the lead in the race. Vladimir Koev from Bulgarian Team caught these two leaders who run together until 24th km and so the three leaders raced cutthroath on the climbing sprint. </p>

   When they arrived in the 10th km, a sprint was started among these three bikers for classification championship. When they arrived in the last 1 km, Mert Mutlu made a counter attack and completed İnebolu-Kastamonu stage with the time of 02.20.49 in the first place and won the yellow trunk in the general classification. Mustafa Sayar ranked second in the general classification with his time of  02.20.53 and Vladimir Koev, Bulgarian Sportsman ranked third with his time of 02.20.58. </p>
<p> <strong>Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor hit the headlines in the stage of Kastamonu-Çankırı<br />

<p> <strong>  The stage Kastamonu-Çankırı which is the 2nd stage of the 5th Victory Parade of the Independence Road was run. Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor, Kocaeli hit the headlines in the stage of   113 km. In the general classification, Mert Mutlu won the yellow trunk, Mustafa Sayar won the green trunk and Vladimir Koev won the red trunk.</p>
<p> </strong>  </p>
<p>The stage of İnebolu – Kastamonu starting with 53 bikers continued with 45 bikers since some of them became ill and some disqualified, and the start was given in front of Kastamonu Court House. The bikers run under low tempo until Ilgaz Mountain and they dispersed when the mountain climbing started. 25 sportsmen got behind, while the front group going ahead under normal tempo started to descend when the altitude reached 1875 m. Sportsmen reached the speed of 100 km/hour and went over the referee cars and pedaled towards sprint premium. Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor/Kocaeli standed out amongst the other sportsmen divided into 2 groups had the first place of sprint Premium in the 64th km. Küçükbay continued to pedal and outpointed 13 sportsmen who tried to reach him with a time of 2 minutes. Küçükbay competed with Vladimir Koev for climbing Premium in 75th km and won this struggle and received the climbing premium. Kemal Küçükbay who is riding ahead the finish line with 4 other sportsmen who caught up on won the championship struggle together with Mert Mutlu, his team mate, when he saw the board fort he last 3 km. Küçükbay, passing the finish line first with a time of 03.16.15 had the first place in the general classification and so he hit the headlines in the stae of Kastamonu-Çankırı. Mert Mutlu from Brisa/Kocaelispor completed the race with a time of 03.16.16 by a short head near Küçükba in the second place and Mustafa Sayar from Konya Şeker Spor ranked third with a time of 03.16.44. </p>
<p><strong>  Again Mert Mutlu had the yellow trunk and Georgi from Brisaspor on the rostrum</strong>  </p>
<p><strong> The Çankırı-Ankara stage which is the 3rd stage of Victory Parade of the 5th Independence Road was run. Omar Hasan from Syria Team ranked first in the race of 99 km where  35 bikers started and Mert Mutlu from Brisaspor became the champion of the stage.</p>

<p>Total 35 sportsmen who started with the race when Mr Uzun, Governor gave start at 14.00 moved as a single group until the sprint premium point in 47th km. The bikers run under low tempo first and then they got move when reached the sprint premium. The biker who went over the sprint premium first was Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor, Kocaeli. 6 sportsmen out of those who were subdivided into small groups in 60th km attacked when reached 10th km. Omar Hasan from Syrian team became the first biker of this stage with a time of 02.48.33. Georgi Petrov from Brisaspor/Kocaeli ranked second with the same time and Mustafa Sayar from Konya Şekerspor ranked third with a time of 02.48.44.</p>

<p><strong> The Criterium Race which is the 4th stage of the Victory Parade of Independence Road was run in Eskişehir. Georgi Petrov from Brisaspor/Kocaeli ranked first in this race lasting 65 km in the city center.</p>

<p>In the boulevard of Hasan Polatkan, 34 bikers started. In the racetrack of 3200 meters the race was run for 65 km based on 20 laps an deven some bikers attacked in the 9th lap, the group was not decomposed. Omar Hasan and Hussain Hazem from Syria had undesired accidents and were disqualified. When reached 3rd lap, Georgi Petrov from Brisaspor/Kocaeli, Martin Grosev from Dobric/Bulgaria and Nadiraze from Georgia attacked and got ahead. A cutthroat race took place amongst these three bikers with a time difference of 35 seconds in the last lap.<br />
Petrow passing the finish line with a time of 01.18.17 ranked first in the Criterium Race. Grasev ranked second with the same time and Giorgi ranked third with the time of  01.18.18.</p>
<p><strong>  Mert Mutlu became champion of the lap</strong>  </p>
<p>The Victory Parade of Independence Road with 5 laps started in İnebolu in August 26, ended with Eskişehir-Dumlupınar Race in August 30, the Victory Day.</p>
<p>Mr Kılıçlar, the Governor, received the representative munitions, on which the phrase of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk “my eyes are on the frontline and I listen to Inebolu” is written, soil of Inebolu and Turkish Flag in İnebolu delivered them to the sportsmen who will carry them to Dumlupınar. Start was given by Kılıçlar, the Governor, who lifted the chequered flag at 09.15 and total 33 sportsmen started to race for 152 km. Even they increased tempo from time to time they raced in groups in general and reached Dumlupınar without care of hot weather. As a result of attack made in the last 3 km Miraç Kal from Konya Şeker Spor had the first place in this lap with a time of  04.33.32. Kemal Küçükbay from Brisaspor/Kocaeli ranked second with the same time and Khan Shaikhovnifadi from Syrian Team ranked third with the same time.</p>
<p>The medals and cups for the sportsmen and teams ranked in were given by Sami Fındıkoğlu, the Brigadier General, Commander of Kütahya Headquarters, Şükrü Kocatepe, Kütahya Governor, Sadık Yakut, Deputy President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and Mustafa İça, Mayor in the award ceremony that took place in front of monument “First Target”. </p>
<p>In this lap, the yellow trunk, the green trunk and the red trunk found their owners. Mr Emin Müftüoğlu, the president of Turkish Cycling Federation dressed the yellow trunk to Mert Mutlu, the green trunk to Kemal Küçükbay and the red trunk to  Vladimir Koev.</p>

  Mr Müftüoğlu delivered the representative munitions sent from İnebolu to Brigade General Fındıkoğlu, the Turkish Flag to Governor Kocatepe and the soil of İnebolu to Mayor İça and gave a plaque showing the map of the race in memory of the race.</p>
<p><strong>RESULTS OF GENERAL CLASSIFICATION IN THE RACE OF VICTORY PARADE OF INDEPENDENCE ROAD</strong>

   Mert Mutlu from Kocaelispor who covered the lap distance of 516 km with a time of 14 hours 17 minutes 38 seconds in the General Classification was declared champion of this race. For the general team classification, Brisaspor from Kocaeli was declared first, Hemus Vivelo team from Bulgaria second and Dobriç team third.
